Lakewood Estates features stunning manufactured homes that are prized for their quality construction and modernized design. Some of the properties have waterfronts and all utilize the newest 2×6 construction, and the community’s proximity to Lake Odessa means that residents will have access to the best shopping, schools and entertainment, including the following stadiums and arenas where exciting events are annually hosted.
Deltaplex Entertainment & Expo Center
This event center is open from 9 AM to 5 PM and is popular for its concerts and trade shows. Visitors have noted that their beverages are affordable and the seats are comfortable. There is a concession section where you can purchase lots of snacks and their audio system is excellent with a clean facility overall. However, some attendees have stated that the Deltaplex has long wait times (up to 2 hours) in some cases which means it is important to arrive earlier, especially for high-profile events. They have a security team in place that will search everyone prior to allowing entry into the building and the parking is excellent though you’ll have to pay for it.
Unlike some arenas, alcoholic beverages can be purchased here. You will also get the opportunity to meet athletes and stars and get autographs/photos from them. The Deltaplex is renowned for its basketball games and they offer VIP tables which are only two rows away from their court. Aside from basketball competitions they also host hunting shows and concerts.
Griff’s Georgetown
This arena is open from 3 PM to 10 PM and is best known for its hockey games. It has dual ice rinks along with leagues, programs and private use areas. It must be noted that their operational hours might vary depending on their ice scheduling. Hockey players that have competed here stated that they were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rink, which has exceptional ice. They also have locker rooms that feature whiteboards, a feature many ice rinks overlook.
Jumpin Jax Bounce Arena
This arena was opened in 2008 and is designed for children. It is a large facility that covers approximately ten thousand square feet and is geared towards children between the ages of two and twelve. Their name is taken from the inflatables, which is the arena’s primary attraction. They have seven large ones with some that are made for toddlers. Other attractions include obstacle courses and slides, and parents are welcome to interact and play with their kids. The Jumpin Jax Bounce Arena also hosts parties so it is a wonderful place to celebrate birthdays.
Children especially love this arena because it allows them to burn off calories and take time away from video games or computer/television screens. It also allows youngsters to interact with one another and play together. The only downside that has been noted by some visitors is that the bathrooms are a bit far from the play area, and you’ll need to go by the main entrance to access them. This means children should not visit the bathroom area alone unless supervised by their parents.
