The city of Leslie is in beautiful Ingham County, a 30-minute drive outside our capitol city of Lansing, MI – home of our Class A minor league baseball team, the Lansing Lugnuts. Leslie is conveniently located just off US 127 and 17 miles north of Jackson. Jackson offers many shopping options such as the Jackson West Mall, Merchant Crossing and Jackson Crossing along with Meijer and Kroger. Medical facilities include Henry Ford Allegiance Health, Henry Ford Allegiance Specialty Hospital and Center for Family Health. There are several higher education institutions including Jackson College, Baker College, Career Quest Learning Centers, and Spring Arbor University. Located 25 miles to the north of Leslie, in historical East Lansing, is Michigan State University. MSU is a member of the Big Ten Conference and is the largest education institution in the State of Michigan. The university offers a renowned educational platform for medical, agricultural, and veterinary programs. There is also a Master of Arts in Technology program. While in East Lansing you can enjoy shopping at the Meridian Mall, Meridian Towne Center, Edgewood Towne Center, and an abundance of smaller shops on Campus and the surrounding areas. Medical facilities include McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital, McLaren Orthopedic Hospital, Sparrow Hospital, and Sparrow Hospital St. Lawrence Campus.
